Charity Gaming

Gaming, or gambling as it is often referred to is an extremely popular passtime in the US. It is generally accepted that gambling is an entertainment and should be enjoyed as such

Our policy at CharityGaming.org is to encourage those people involved in gambling to consider distibuting some of their revenues to charitable causes. Our site can help find the relevant information for you state policy

Our view is that you can have great fun organising, participating and getting together like-minded people to enjoy playing games and at the same time help out those in your community (or worldwide) that are less fortunate and not able to anjoy such things

We search out casinos and fundraising parties that hold gaming events that help those in need to through gambling

Occassionally we spot a story in the news searches that gives us hope. There are certainly others out there with similar goals in trying to acheive a better worl through donating some of their spare entertainment money to good causes.

It's really not too important which form of leisure activity you donate from, whether it's foregoing a meal out, or if it's giving a proportion of you gaming money, the main thing is to think about others once in a while and give somehting back to those less fortunate than ourselves

Casino Fundraisers

One poplular way to raise money is to hold a casino fundraiser

Poker Fundraisers

poker is enjoyed worldwide as a great way to get together and enjoy a night in with friends, exercise the brain and to enjoy some competitive fun. People also love to play tournaments, whether big or small and this area has been imporessive in the charitcbale donations handed out over the years

Online Gaming Fundraising

As a very new area of gaming online gaming has not yet really hit the headlines with it's charity fundraisings. This is perhaps not surprising given how new it is - online gmaing has been around only just over 10 years, whereas card games and other casino games aare well established, regulated and enjoyed for decades, if not hundreds of years.

Charity Gaming Laws

If you are looking to set up a charity event based around casino games, poker or another form of gambling like bingo, then it would be worthwhile studying the laws for your specific region
